Nordic Fest 2020 is happening the 13th and 14th of November 2020 - mark your calendars!
Information about tickets and the first bands will come around New Years.
The 13th Edition of Nordic Fest was a blast, and we had a fantastic time.
A special thanks to Pål, Markus, Oddmund, Rune, Rikard and Vetle from NM, Erik for gorgeous sound, Sub for hosting us, Holy Riders for accommodation, the people speaking in the day seminar, the bands and musicians playing, the volunteers doing everything from cooking rice to rigging backstage, the Culture Council and municipality for support, the people working in stands, Gabriela for pictures and videos, Jr Rife for pictures and interviewing GROMS, Batista from Antidemon for preaching on the Sunday Service, everyone donating to the charity raffle, Bob Beeman for having the wonderful charity, everyone supporting Nordic Mission, everyone attending and the One and Only for making this weekend happen without any troubles.
For the sake of nostalgia, the original post will remain here until New Years:
Once upon a time in 2018 Nordic Markus and Pål sat in the car to Elements of Rock, reminiscing the 2017 edition of Nordic Fest.
The delight of getting your face melded, bones pounded and beaten by the delightful tunes of holy wrath, righteous anger, and glorious praise.
Happy days. And least, but not last considering the festivals outstanding surplus on $5, we decided that it was time to gather the family again.
You are invited, and we look forward to seeing you all - even if we don´t know you from before!
Nordic Fest is being held at Sub Scene, a venue located in the very heart of Oslo. It is located at Rosenkrantz' gate 17, 700 meters from its former location. Being a venue that does not serve alcohol, and therefore having no age-limit, it also appeals to the younger crowd with a passion for music. Sub Scene has its own bar/cafe (Sub Cafe) with a great selection of various beverages and snacks. Parking places are limited around Sub Scene so expect a little bit of walking. It may be smart to bring some warm clothes, as the median temperature for Oslo in that period is between 0 and 5 degrees Celsius (32 to 41 Fahrenheit).
Nordic Mission will be selling vinyls, CDs, DVDs, t-shirts and hoodies at the venue. This is your chance to get yourself collectors’ items, a masterpiece, the latest news or the albums you have always wanted, without paying for the shipping! Check out nordicmission.net for our selection! We are also, as always, invited to join the service at Sub Church on Sunday 16:00 (4:00 PM).
It is a pleasure for us to announce Nordic Fest 2019, and we look forward to seeing all of you in November!
