Corrent. The Rock and Hard Place is gonna tear up the weekend from November 1st, broadcasting on Saturday evenings instead of its current Monday evening slot.
Alongside the change of day, expect new features, jingles/idents and more live in-studio action to boot.
Most weeks we've got live interviews and moving to our Saturday slots will hopefully allow for more of my British interviewees to be in the studio and as such more interactive with you guys.
As with all changes, it's gonna be good news for some and not so for others. That's why we're gonna try to make sure it's easier for you to listen at the time that's best for you. Our whole listen again feature is soon to get a revamp and specifically for my show you'll be able to listen to my show an hour at a time if you wish.
I'll be setting up a Facebook group and giving my myspace a bit of a tidy up in order to keep you better informed. All forthcoming interviews, major music news and some tasty bits of audio will be put up there on a regular basis. Of course that's the ideal place for you to lend your own comments and one of the few places that bands will actively be encouraged to plaster their promotional gubbins.
You want metal? You want punk? You want hardcore? You wanna rock out? You wanna listen to the Rock and Hard Place 7-9pm on 96.3 in Plymouth, 101.8 in Stoke on Trent, 107.1 in Teesside, some random station in Connecticut and online worldwide via crossrhythms.co.uk
Now then, any of your own suggestions as to what needs a revamping, reducing or introducing will be gratefully received. I'm all ears (hello ladies).
Remember remember the 1st of November. Gunpowder, metal and punk!
