A couple of months ago, or something like that...

Black Label Society.

Hated them when they opened for Priest (on their "Farewell" tour...You know, the tour from two tours or so ago  ), but really liked them a lot this time. ...More mature, more musical, more mellow, but better.

Priest opened for slipknot???
And Crue opened for lamb of god?

Wtf?

And that "So it begins" on your sig...is that from Mortal? "Rift" is such an excellent song...so dynamic.
Was listening to Fathom a lot the three months I lived in Las Vegas (half of it in my truck). I'd give just about anything to be that young again...at that point in time. I really feel like I've wasted my life, and I constantly beg God's forgiveness for that.

Priest were below Slipknot on the bill - Slipknot are frigging ginormous in the UK, Judas Priest, legends that they are, just aren't as popular (I think this was the only big European festival Priest were playing and not headlining). Crüe were playing the mainstage, and were below KISS on the bill, Lamb of God were below Enter Shikari on the second stage.

I haven't listened to Mortal for ages, but the lyrics are from Becoming the Archetype's first album.
so it begins...

Wow, those guys are still around? They're from the 90's. I think I still have their CD...or, one of them.
Once, on a road trip, I put it on, and one would think I was yanking my uncle's toenails out with a pair of pliers. ...And that was one of my most mellow CD's at the time.

Hmm.... maybe not the same band? This was a hardcore band from Ohio, and they looked like they were probably just being born in the 90s. :P

I finally saw Yob tonight. It took them 13 years to get here, but they got here! And it was AWESOME.
