Ted Kirkpatrick...

Postby Herrens Gåfva » Sat Jan 23, 2016 12:01

is way overrated!

Alot of Tourniquet's music is great, especially the earlier stuff. But as a drummer goes, I think he gets way to much credit. Basically no finess, no groove, not alot of feeling. I would like to liken him to Steve Rowe = earlier stuff is fantastic (maybe because of other people), but he just keeps on going and it's not really getting any better. The new Black Sabbath tribute album sounds really boring...

Thoughts? Am I wrong? If so, I need proof.
I am going to take over ze world...

He can get really boring at times, though the riffs and songs he's writing are usually really good and creative.
I quite liked the latest Tourniquet album. (Antiseptic Bloodbath)
