Yeah. Some of the changes are good though. As much as I loved finding random OK bands at generator stages, the last few years it's just been annoying. I'm not a fan of the new layout, but really the fest has been tanking lately, so they had to change something.

It's a good thing to have a lot of the generator stages removed, but surely there could be room for more of them...
Oh well, the people going this year will be guinea pigs, and when I return some year, hopefully they'll have made adjustments to make it awesomer.

Yeah. On the plus side, we get to play HM stage right before BTA. :D

I'm not going either...and it seems like the majority of the people I hang out with at Cornerstone aren't either. What a sad place it will be without us running around at night, wreaking havoc in the food court...

I wish I was going...not that I even care about the fest...I just wanna go somewhere that's not here, and hang out with my friends...maybe cook for them....and I miss Annie's cat....though that cat's probably dead by now. :(

LOL

Okay, so the fest was really freakin' weird, BUT, I have to say I enjoyed this year more than almost any other thus far. If I didn't think that it was so weird I probably would have thought it was the best, but I missed some of the more usual c-stone things I.E. late night hangout-ness and what-not.

So how was it with the main stage right in the middle of everything? And with the generators all confined and right next to each other? And all the other new weirdness?

See, I need to know these things so I'm ready for next year...

I thought it worked out well to have the main stage closer to everything going on. The Sanctuary Stage was with all the other generator stages and were located on the main road. This made it easier for people to just "drop in" on their way to whereever and check out a few bands, thus increasing the attendance of the generator stages.

It didn't over power anything like I thought it would. That award still goes to the underground stage haha. Really I loved it. They layout makes sooooo much more sense aside from having the HM stage so far away from everything. But even then it wasn't that bad, just odd. I'm really excited about next year already, I think it's only going to get better.

Well of COURSE it will be better - I'll be there.

Really though. I have been looking at pictures and videos on the Cornerstone site, and I realized how in just a few years it has become a fixture of my summer. All the more reason to be a high school teacher when I come back - summers off!

Haha same here man. I don't know that I have like any summer time pictures that aren't somehow related to cornerstone.
