that was fun. I did knew Gallhammer for name and now I got to know it was tibute band and that eplains the band name because they always uses wordplays in them. Gallhammer = Garu/Gyaru Hammaa = Girl Hammer.

And you all know this right? Combine a chick singer, rocka billy guy, ex-sumo wrestler, 70's(80's guitar hero (Japanese) and Marty Friedman.

Interesting. Learn something new every day.

Nice to know Friedman is utilizing his talent SO well, after leaving Megadeth.

There are several Japanese bands I like, Maximum the Hormone is one of them :)
Sometimes I enjoy BABYMETAL too

Do you know Wagakki Band? I love them! You can see their concert here
(skip to 4:25 if you want to go direct to the first song)

Versailles Philharmonic Quintet is another band I really enjoy. The guitarist made the cover for the last Impellitteri album and I just saw an info which said he was also playing live with them.

DEATHGAZE

And of course, DIR EN GREY

...and
Moi Dix Mois

Yes... But I can't like this :?
I think my quotas were already spent with BABYMETAL :fionatooth:

Very good, but it sounds like a normal metal band. If it's Japanese, it needs the J element, something unusual :P

And I just remembered about a Japanese Christian band (the only I know, unfortunately)

There was a hard rock band in 90's called Messengers but that is only other christian "metal" I know from Japan. From Christian root there are lot of musician even famous ones one in the most famous band in Japan (has/had Christian mom) and one making some kind of symphonic black metal.

I do actually. He's from the same city as me and is very unpopular down here do to how he treats employees and musicians that have nothing to do with him. Interestingly, of all of his musical projects this is the only one that's ever kicked off because thanks to Babymetal Jpop-metal is in right now, so he's milking it for ALL it's worth.
